Stanley Kubrick's final movie which muses on the theme of marriage, fidelity and intimacy. Dr Bill Harford and his lovely wife Alice, have a wonderful life of contented luxury, with a loving daughter and a beautiful New York apartment. But Bill is shocked out of his complacency when Alice reveals a story about herself which makes him think again about the security of his life. Hurt by his wife's revelation Bill goes out into the night determined to have a wild sexual experience...
